PECO Utility Improvements Scheduled on Several State Highways in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Thursday, May 25, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Woodbine Road and Ashbridge Square in East Caln Township;
- Thursday, May 25, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue in the City of Coatesville;
- Thursday, May 25, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Kennett Pike) between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Maple Lane in Kennett Township; and
- Thursday, May 25, through Friday, June 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 282 (Wallace Avenue) between Norwood Road and Pennsylvania Avenue in Downingtown Borough and East Caln Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
